May 1 – June 5, 2024 (Wednesdays) from 2:00 – 6:15 pm MDT

Attend Course Live Virtually or In-Person at Hume 'n Resources / LIFFT Office in Payson, UT.

 
 

This is a multi-purpose HR course.

• Learn HR best practices.

• Develop skills to proactively keep your organization out of court & help employees to be more productive & engaged.

• Refresh your professional development by reviewing HRM's body of knowledge & competencies as outlined by SHRM & HRCI.

• If currently certified, earn up to 27 professional development / recertification credits.

• Prepare for a HR certification exam and learn which exam is best for you to take: aPHR, SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

• Review and practice successful study & testing tips.

• Meet attendance requirements to earn a course Certificate of Completion.

 

INSTRUCTOR:  Frances Hume, SPHR, GPHR of Hume ‘n Resources & LIFFT* non-profit

Well-known leader in the HR profession with over 46 years of HR and leadership experience.
Since 1997 has assisted thousands of HR professionals in enhancing their HR and leadership
skills as well as assisting them in successfully passing their HR certification exams;

SHRM Learning System SME & SHRM Certification Prep. instructor for national SHRM.

2009 HRCI National Board Chair and 2003-2010 HRCI Board member of the HR Certification Institute
(HRCI) Board of Directors; former Subject Matter Expert for the SHRM Learning System;
former item (question) writer of national certification exam questions;

Served on BYU’s OB/HR Advisory Council, USU’s HR Advisory Council, and

Western Governors’ University's Business Council and is past Chair and member of the

Citizen's Compensation Advisory Committee (CCAC) for Salt Lake City.

 

*In 2022, Frances Hume created a non-profit – LIFFT– to assist and lift others to a better quality of life.
This 6-Week HR Course is eligible for some financial assistance through our non-profit, LIFFT, for those

who do NOT have access to tuition reimbursement or other financial assistance for cost of a HR course

and would otherwise not be financially able to attend any HR training.
