*HR Certification Preparation (HRCP) Modules & Online Practice Tests will be used by individuals studying for his/her
certification exam after the 3-Day Course. These materials will not be used during the 3-Day Course.

(1) Certification Preparation: HR practitioners wanting to successfully prepare for the aPHR, PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
certification exams
*Note: The certification preparation course is not a substitute for the certification examination. The HRCI or SHRM exam
registration is separate and an additional cost from the HR course registration.
- To take the aPHR, PHR or SPHR exam, you must complete a separate application online through the HR Certification

- To take the SHRM-CP/SPHR, go to: http://www.shrm.org/certification
(2) Professional Development: Professionals desiring to review or update knowledge/skills in current HRM best practices and
pertinent laws, those who want to learn about the HRM profession or to earn professional development recertification credits.
*Note: This 3-Day HR Certification Preparation course is not a substitute for certification examination.
The HRCI or SHRM certification exam registration is a separate and an additional process & cost from the HR Certificate
Course registration.
Two organizations offer HR Generalist certification exams for HR credentials: HRCI and SHRM
- HRCI: To take the aPHR, PHR or SPHR exam, you must complete a separate application online through the HR Certification
Institute (HRCI): www.hrci.org or call 1-866-898-4724.
- SHRM: To take the SHRM-CP or SCP, you must complete a separation application online, go to: http://www.shrm.org
