REFUND REQUESTS

There are no returns or exchanges except as outlined below.  

 

A refund of course tuition will only be given if a student cancellation request is received 30 days prior to the first class of the course.

Students who do not show up for class or who decide not to attend the specific course they registered for will not receive a tuition refund.

 

After a student order for the HR course workbook has been printed and delivered to the student,  it is not eligible for return or refund.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

If cancellation or postponement of a scheduled course is due to circumstances beyond Hume 'n Resources control (classroom issues, natural disasters, pandemics, accidents, etc.), Registered Students will automatically be transferred to the next scheduled Hume 'n Resources course and no transfer fees will be assessed. These situations will also be handled  on a case-by-case basis. 

 

If a course is totally canceled and no other courses will be taught in a 6-month period of time, a refund of the cost of the course tuition will be sent within 30 days of course cancellation.

 

HRCP books, HR Course workbooks, Web and credit / PayPal service fees and shipping expenses are sunk costs and are NOT be eligible for refund.

NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS

If paying for course or certification preparation materials by check, you must ensure that sufficient available funds are in your bank or financial provider to cover your payment.  If your check or payment is returned because of insufficient funds, you will need to pay for any banking fees/changes our organization has incurred as well as a $50 returned check charge.  We will not attempt to re-deposit the returned check, so a new payment will need to be provided.

SHIPPING and Handling

Shipping and handling charges for course workbooks and certification preparation printed books are paid directly to the vendor when Hume 'n Resources is handling a bundled service for a HR course -- the HR Cert Prep books will be shipped by the vendor using the following carriers: USPS  and UPS ground.

In the event you wish to return your unopened HR certification preparation modules (5 books) up to 30 days after receipt, you should contact HRCP directly:  terriz@hrcp.com or 801-343-3699 or go to www.hrcp.com to look up "contact us" information.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the modules.  All shipping costs are non-refundable. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as HRCP does not guarantee that they will receive your returned modules if not done.

 

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you use our Products or Website, you may be asked for personally identifiable information such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number.

By giving us such information, you will need to consent by using it in the manner described in this policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at franceshume@comcast.net

We will return or destroy your personal information within five days of receipt of your withdrawal of consent.

 

COOKIES

Cookies are small data files that a website you visit may save on your computer or handheld device that usually includes an anonymous unique identifier. Our Websites and those of our Products may use cookies for user authentication, keeping track of your preferences, promotional campaigns, tracking our audience size and traffic patterns, and in certain other cases. We may include small graphic images in our email messages and newsletters to determine whether the messages were opened and the links were viewed.

 

SECURITY

All security on our Website is treated seriously. Where applicable, we undertake security steps, including use of SSL technology, on our back-end systems that store customer account information and to protect data transmissions. However, this is not a guarantee that such data transmissions cannot be accessed, altered or deleted due to firewall or other security software failures.
